Urban Advisors was founded in 2005 by David Sharp, a former Senior Alternative Investment Manager for Wachovia’s Alternative Investment Program. Since inception, we have served the needs of foundations, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and for-profit entities across the country from our Charlotte location. Our clients truly value our hands-on approach to each engagement, as we aim to understand each organization or municipality, its values, the people it serves, its goals, before we create a unique investment strategy for each client.

We provide our services to a broad array of clients, including foundations, asset management firms, non-profit organizations, financing institutions, and government agencies. We average 25 transactions or engagements per year for these institutions.
